Patta and Nike have returned with a new collaboration and this time they’ve brought along a third partner – Spanish football giants, FC Barcelona. The three collaborators have chosen the fan favourite Air Max Plus as their reworked silhouette, as well as more collaborative football attire that can be seen below.

After introducing a successful series of Air Max 1s, Patta and Nike are teaming up once more to upgrade one of Nike’s classics, and it’s truly a sight to behold.

We’ve just been treated to our first glimpses of the Patta x FC Barcelona x Nike Air Max Plus, unveiling a vibrant and distinctly Barça-inspired interpretation of the classic TN design.

Barcelona‘s famous colours of blue and garnet red decorate the new design of the returning silhouette, plus the familiar swirling patterns adorning the upper part of the trainer.

Barcelona‘s iconic hues also feature on the double mini Swoosh motifs, subtly extending to the unique sole of the shoe, which features the expert Air unit technology for extreme comfort.

With a Patta badge adorning the tongue tabs and FC Barcelona’s unmistakable crest honouring the lace area, along with Nike TN branding appearing elsewhere, the collaborative details can be spotted throughout the entire design.

If that wasn’t enough Barça references, the insole bears the inscription “Culers Del Món,” paying homage to Barcelona‘s loyal fanbase who have named themselves ‘Culés.’

There’s still more to come as leaked images and rumours online suggest that the new trainers from the three-way project will be joined by a wider selection of football-inspired attire, including two new football shirts seen above.

While an official release date remains a mystery for the new Patta x FC Barcelona x Nike Air Max Plus, many online users believe we should at least expect a drop to arrive before the year concludes.

Given the success of Patta‘s previous Air Max 1 collaboration, it’s highly likely that the Barca Air Max Plus will certainly capture attention in a similar style.
