Following the release of Liverpool’s 2022/23 home jersey which celebrated “Scouse Solidarity,” Liverpool F.C. has returned with the release of their new away jersey for the approaching season which comes in an interesting colour design.

Designed by their sponsor, Nike, the new away kit takes inspiration from Liverpool’s vibrant music scene and dance culture as the new colour design features psychedelic-like patterns across the entirety of the jersey.

Crafted with sustainable materials, the jersey sticks to a vibrant and strong colour scheme of blue, green, purple, and black hues.

The kit first debuted during Liverpool’s pre-season friendly against Manchester United on Tuesday 12 July which saw United thrash Liverpool 4-0. Despite the loss, Liverpool’s new away kit gained plenty of positive responses from fans online.

Consisting of mostly bright and silvery tones – the neck, cuffs, Nike‘s Swoosh Logo, Liverpool’s Emblem and the team’s chest and arm sponsor comes in a deep black hue for a contrasting effect.

An additional detail that’s been added is when turned inside out, a “97” emblem can be found on the inside of the neck as a touching tribute to the 97 fans who lost their lives during the Hillsborough disaster.

For anyone looking to get their hands on the new Liverpool F.C. 2022/23 away jersey, it’s currently available from Nike’s website for £74.95 with optional name customisations.
