Foot Locker May Be Next To Begin Reselling Yeezy Shoes

October 2022 saw the world witness a world-wide boycott of everything from the Yeezy line and less than a year later, promising rumours have surfaced of retailers such as Foot Locker, preparing to begin reselling Yeezy shoes as early as August.

Adidas cut all ties with Kanye West, now known as Ye, as the most successful partnership in footwear history came to an end. However, Adidas began re-releasing thousands of pairs from the Adidas Yeezy line to avoid anymore financial loss due to their excessive amount of leftover Yeezy stock.

Multiple sources across social media have approved this weeks rumours that Foot Locker, possibly along with other retailers, will also begin selling the popular Yeezys again very soon.

Seen above, @Roszko72, claims that multiple iterations of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and the Yeezy Slides will be sold at Foot Locker and other footwear retailers come August.

If its true and Foot Locker do begin reselling Yeezy shoes, it may reflect very poorly on the company, given their stance at the height of Kanye‘s controversy with Adidas.

Footwear News reported that in the aftermath of the fallout between Ye and Adidas, a company-wide email was sent out: “[Our company does] not tolerate any form of antisemitism, or hateful and discriminatory behaviour.

“While we remain a partner with Adidas and carry a wide assortment of their collections – we will not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”

Foot Locker are yet to confirm or deny any of this information, but we can likely expect the footwear chain to make an announcement within the upcoming weeks.
