After a standout season with Arsenal F.C. this past season, winger and Arsenal starboy Bukayo Saka has been enlisted to front the Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance “Made In UK” campaign.
Aimé Leon Dore uploaded a series of photos showcasing the 20-year-old Premier League player in a range of apparel plus the new Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 991 trainers which are still waiting to be released.
Aimé Leon Dore founder and New Balance creative director – Teddy Santis created a collection of apparel based around the colourways of the two new ‘Made In UK’ 991 trainers, which arrive in the autumnal colours of tan and grey.
The new apparel collection, displayed by Saka, stays true to these natural coloured tones and shows The Gunners’ star repping two new co-branded football shirts as part of a release of both brands joint Spring/Summer 22 collection.
One football shirt is displayed in a Celtic-inspired green and white hoop colourway, while the other is a more navy and white option which features ‘ALD’ as the kit sponsor and a New Balance logo placed in the upper side of the chest.
The rest of the collection matches well with the earthy tones of the shoes. Pieces such as parka jackets, fleeces, jumpers, polos, shorts, socks, and caps all come in shades of olive, tan, beige, navy, white, and black.
The Arsenal talisman seems to be trying something new during his off time and Saka now joins familiar names such as Jack Grealish (Gucci) and Kylian Mbappé (Dior) as huge names in football who have recently involved themselves in the fashion industry.
Take a closer look at Saka looking his best in the Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance ‘Made In UK’ campaign above – the full collection drops this Friday on June 10 from the Aimé Leon Dore webstore.
