Crep Protect have teamed up with Cologne-based sneaker trading platform Klekt / Presented By to open their first store in low-key Fitzrovia, which sits quietly on one of its side roads.

The area is more known for fancy bars, restaurants and an array of healthy food boutiques, as opposed to fashionably cool streetwear stores; although that can be found just over a mile and a half away in the neighbouring Soho area. It’s a strange fit for the uber cool trainer cleaning brand, Crep Protect, to open their first cleaning store in the UK.

Once inside however, the experience transforms itself into a slicked out cavern of exclusive kicks and streetwear grails with enough rare Hypebeast clobber to make even the lesser die-hard Hypebeast fanboys weak at the knees. Including the FNF Parra x Nike collab at £10,000 and the Nike Air Mag at £110,000, no that was not a type btw.

The store boasts to be the UK’s first trainer consignment store, meaning that they sell exclusive trainers on behalf of collectors and enthusiasts alike, for an agreed price and fee. The range of trainers in stock were actually pretty impressive, ranging from Yeezy’s, to Jordans, to Air Max 1’s, there were even some exclusive Supreme x LV luggage and wallets to name a few. I feel a store tour video needs to be done on this one, so stayed tuned for that.

Trainer cleaning services are also available, so if you’re ever nearby Central London’s Fitzrovia area, it could be worth passing through for a quick browse.
