It is one of the most influential fashion labels in the world and often sets the trends of the season. Yves had an interesting approach to fashion and wanted to blur the lines between men’s and womenswear, he made the decision to fuse the men’s and women’s collections together in the hope that it would emphasise his gender fluid message. Individuality was always really important to the designer and so that is what Saint Laurent embodies. The brand takes classic pieces and elevates them to a luxury status in a way that is cool and rebellious. Saint Laurent is now owned by the Kering group has now been under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016 and he continues to keep the brand true to its identity.
