Italian fashion house Gucci was founded in 1921 and the luxury brand is currently one of the top international brands and this is due to the brands contemporary style and its mash-up of historical and cultural references. Some pieces point towards the British upper class, in particular equestrianism, whereas other pieces reference 90’s streetwear or 70’s tailoring. Gucci’s men’s collection offers so much and are catered for different styles. When Alessandro Michele took over as creative director in 2015, he dug into the brands archives so that he could stay true to Gucci’s DNA. He found a lot of animal motifs and started to incorporate them into the newer collections, the most stand out motif has been the snake that we see on Gucci t-shirts and trainers and it has become a significant design within the fashion house. The iconic loafers which are perfect for any formal event come in a plethora of colours and patterns or if you’d rather opt for some more casual shoes, then take a look at the Gucci trainers that are becoming a cult favourite or even some slides that we highly recommend. The instantly recognisable colour palette can be found on bags, shirts and leather accessories and they can be a subtle way of sporting the brand. Take a look below for our Gucci selection.
