As many labels start to switch on their Spring/Summer 2023 mode, Y-3 stay ahead of the curve with their new iteration of the iconic Adidas Gazelle trainers, now available in the stealthy colourways of Black and Off White.
Established in 2003 by Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, Y-3 and their latest Gazelle trainers focuses on stitching, which is evident through the loose threads and visible stitching details throughout the upper.
Their design concept has a rich history as they’re inspired by the Japanese sashiko, a traditional sewing style which is left visible and used to create decorative patterns, plus to also repair clothing.
The Y-3 Gazelles have preserved most of its AW22 details, such as the suede construction, stealthy aesthetic and Y-3 branded heel tab.
Yohji Yamamoto branding can also be seen on the right-side of the new Gazelles.
