With a series of anticipated collaborations and special releases in the pipeline, we’re now expecting the release of Virgil Abloh’s hyped Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid, very soon.
Seen in a black colourway, a second version of the footwear will launch in a triple white package.
A diagonal zig-zag lacing system shoots across the top of the shoe in a similar fashion to Abloh’s Dunk collection.
A fitted ankle strap offers a secured fit, while “Air” branding on the tongue is made in a graffiti-inspired design.
Other features include an transparent and iconic Nike Swoosh on either side of both trainers, an orange zip-tie, quoted text, an exposed air bubble, plus a neon pink outsole.
In late September 2021, mock-up images surfaced, showing two pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid by Off-White. Since then, a Spring/Summer launch date has been rumoured.
These rumors appear to be true as the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1s are expected to release on May 23rd.
It’s one of the last collaborations that Virgil worked on with the Nike family before his devastating passing last year.
Offered in two different colour ways and available via the Nike Store – this will definitely be one for the collectors out there.
