Brand new footwear designs from Louis Vuitton have surfaced. The sneakers are skate inspired and so far we have seen high-tops and low-tops. They have been dubbed ‘High 8’ and ‘LVAK8’. From these images there are 7 different colour-ways in total coming in a range of two-tone and triple-tone.
The high-tops are similar to the Nike Dunk High, but they have accent stitching, contour lines, and stacked overlays. The perforated padding on the collars is also similar to the Jordan 6’s. The high tops come in premium leather uppers and rubber soles, with LV motif midsole heel logos, laterals and heel counter.
The low-tops have a resemblance to retro skate shoes with the wide rounded laces which run across the thick padded tongue. The tongue displays “LV 1854” on the tab, and additional “LV54” graphics are found on the heel – a homage to the year the luxury Maison was founded. With a mesh base, a diamond-encrusted mudguard decorates the forefoot, and premium leather and suede overlays run across the silhouette. A leather LV flower logo is imprinted on the laterals, and LV motifs are found on the rubber midsoles.
We haven’t had a proper release date yet so keep your eyes peeled. We also expect to see some more images when Louis Vuitton officially launch the sneakers. But for now, take a look below and let us know on our socials what you think.
