We catch up with Matt and Scott in the lead-up to the main Stone Island Archive Evening, offering a behind-the-scenes look at two collectors who continue to shape the growing community around the brand. Both have appeared on the channel before, each time bringing rare and meaningful pieces from their personal archives. In this warm-up, they return with new additions, giving us a closer view of how their collections have developed and what continues to fuel their dedication to Stone Island.
The gathering took place on Friday, 21st November, as part of an event held in collaboration with Pockets. As one of the few remaining independent designer retailers in the UK, Pockets has played a significant role in supporting fashion culture far beyond their Shrewsbury home. With their 30th anniversary approaching next year, the event carried an added sense of heritage and continuity—an acknowledgment of how long-standing retail spaces like Pockets help keep communities alive.
Visiting their Shrewsbury store for the event created the perfect setting for collectors and enthusiasts to meet, share stories, compare pieces, and celebrate over forty years of Stone Island design and innovation. From the earliest garments of the 1980s to items released in 2025, the Archive Evening brought together fans, collectors, and newcomers alike, united by a shared appreciation for the brand’s evolving identity.
We released our first video from the event as a warm-up, catching up with the collectors before the main evening began. This opening piece set the tone for the Archive Evening, offering a closer look at Matt and Scott’s dedication to the culture surrounding Stone Island. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and openness continue to strengthen a community built on passion, history, and the preservation of the stories behind each garment.
