Tottenham Hotspur F.C. superstar, Heung-Min Son is one of the most recent examples of a footballer venturing into the fashion industry, only this time, Son is launching his very own fashion label – NOS7.
Son just had his most successful season ever with Tottenham after playing a huge part in securing 4th position and Champions League football for next season, Son also scored 23 league goals (joint with Mohamed Salah) which won him his first Premier League Golden Boot award.
Son visited his native country South Korea to celebrate his first Premier League Golden Boot with his thousands of fans – and it was here that Son was pictured wearing a white t-shirt donning the NOS7 logo.
Son’s brand name “NOS7” spells out the reverse of the 29-year-old’s name while including his Tottenham jersey number, but on top of this it is also an acronym for “Nothing, Ordinary Sunday.”
Son has partnered with Korean department store “Shinsegae” to help launch his brand NOS7 – with the first of his clothing line scheduled to release on June 17.
The prodcuts of NOS7 are said to range from sportswear, underwear, socks, shoes, hats, gloves, bathrobes, aprons, and also skirts.
After his best ever season with Tottenham, Son is hoping that the fame and popularity his footballing abilities have earned him in South East Asia can be translated into success in the business world.
The Tottenham forward has also registered the trademark for another brand called “INFEELD,” which will focus on the food and beverage market.
It seems Son has the popularity back in his native South Korea and his links with football and passion for fashion can massively help his clothing line be a success.
The fashion industry is huge and Son is one of the most recent footballers that can’t help but get more involved with the industry.
