The city of London was out in full-force last week to celebrate the exclusive C.P. Company x Kano collaboration at FLANNELS‘ flagship store in London – dubbed the Tapes Redefined event.
The event that took over the basement floor of FLANNELS was also celebrating the city’s rich heritage in music – so you can imagine the energy was at an all-time high.
The industry was out in full effect to keep the energy amplified with performances from established artists such as Unknown T, Ghetts, plus the Newham Generals that consists of Footsie and D Double E.
The star-studded event also welcomed a range of high-profile figures such as Top Boy co-stars Ashley Walters and Little Simz, plus Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya and grime sensation AJ Tracey.

With Kano’s own co-founded rum, Duppy Share, being the sponsoring drink of the night, Tapes Redefined was to celebrate London’s ever-expanding music scene as well as all of Kano’s recent milestones in his impressive career.
The new Kano x C.P. Company collaboration features the unique Metropolis Series Field Jacket that’s been updated with construction details such as hand-written notes from studio sessions from Kano’s 2019 album Hoodies All Summer.
