Burberry and its Equestrian Knight Device (EKD) that was crowd-sourced from a public competition in 1901, has been placed at the center of the British heritage brand’s latest collections.
The 100-year-old EKD is seen as a symbol of the brand’s association with quality and traditional Britishness. Burberry‘s creative director since 2022, Daniel Lee, has vowed to bring Burberry back to its traditional British roots and reintroducing the famous knight and horse is just one of his recent efforts.
