Pockets and The Hoxton Trend are collaborating to bring together a unique event a Stone Island Archive Evening curating pieces from the 1980s right through to the 2020s. This event will celebrate the history, innovation, and evolution of one of menswear’s most iconic brands, giving enthusiasts the chance to explore, connect, and share their passion for Stone Island.
Founded in 1996 by Paul Platt in Shrewsbury, Pockets has built a reputation as one of the UK’s most respected independent menswear retailers. What started as a single store has grown into multiple locations across Shrewsbury, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Hanley, and Nantwich. Their flagship store, a five-floor space in Shrewsbury’s historic market square, has become a cornerstone of premium fashion retail. Pockets has long been known for its refined curation of brands from Stone Island and Moncler to Thom Browne and C.P. Company blending luxury with authenticity and an emphasis on personal service.
At the event, attendees will have the chance to view a remarkable selection of Stone Island archive pieces, each representing a chapter in the brand’s evolution. The evening will also serve as an opportunity for our community to meet, connect, and enjoy drinks in a setting that celebrates craftsmanship, culture, and creativity.
One of the featured collectors, Matt, was recently showcased on The Hoxton Trend, where he shared his story and collection. Matt began collecting Stone Island around the age of fifteen, drawn to its rarity at the time. As the brand became more mainstream, he sold many of his early pieces, only to later regret it and focus on collecting rarer, more unique items. His display at the event will reflect this journey a mix of nostalgia, exclusivity, and dedication to the craft.
Joining him will be Scott, better known within the community as StonedLoved1982. Based in Grimsby, Scott’s collection is regarded as one of the most complete and respected in the Stone Island world. His journey began in his teenage years, inspired by the brand’s experimental fabrics and design philosophy. Over time, this evolved into a deep personal connection with the brand. “It’s not just about owning pieces,” Scott explains. “It’s about the stories behind them and the way they make you feel when you wear them.”
The Stone Island Archive Evening will celebrate collectors like Matt and Scott, whose passion has helped preserve the legacy and storytelling behind the brand. If you’d like to be part of this exclusive event, please RSVP using the link below.
