Available now at HUGO BOSS, this new initiative and its collection aims to change the future of fashion, where HUGO BOSS are “pushing the limits for a better, smarter industry.”
First unveiled at the BOSS Fall/Winter 2023 event during Milan Fashion Week, the more sustainable fiber that may replace polyester and nylon, makes its debut on a trio of limited-edition HUGO BOSS jackets.
All three of these exclusive outerwear garments contribute to fighting microplastics by incorporating the technology of HeiQ AeoniQ™ – a revolutionary plant-based yarn that’s beginning with BOSS to drive change in the industry.
Designed with the environment in mind and limited to only 100 pieces per style, the three innovative styles join the ‘See Now, Buy Now’ component of the BOSS FW’23 collection.
First up (seen above) is the menswear double-breasted trench coat that arrives with a removable belt, flap pockets, shoulder tabs and crafted from a 3-layer textile HeiQ AeoniQ™ fabric, bonded with a bio-based waterproof membrane.
The next style is the gender-neutral bomber jacket that arrives in a relaxed silhouette and dropped-shoulder construction that boasts timeless BOSS tailoring details.
Constructed in HeiQ AeoniQ™ and embellished with trimmings made from sustainable materials, the jacket features light padding crafted from mostly recycled silk, welt pockets, cuff and hem adjusters, plus a concealed, two-way zipper at the front.
The third and final fashion-changing garment is the womenswear double-breasted trench coat, designed in a regular fit with an outer shell made from HeiQ AeoniQ™ and also including a removable belt.
Each pieces has been embroidered with a unique series number to demonstrate their exclusiveness, but better yet, each item also includes a woven label with a QR code where you can find more information on THE CHANGE initiative and BOSS’s work with HeiQ AeoniQ™.
