Mixing the worlds of British heritage with contemporary Japanese streetwear, Fred Perry and A Bathing Ape (BAPE) are reuniting for the first time since their debut link-up in 2021.
Similar to before, BAPE has adopted a selection of classic Fred Perry styles such as the polo shirt, track jackets, plus sweatshirts and reworked them with their signature camouflage motif.
Seen in the gallery below, Fred Perry‘s most iconic garment, the twin-tipped polo shirt arrives with an updated BAPE camouflage print in either purple and black iterations.
BAPE‘s well-known designs have been placed across a wide selection of hoodies, track jackets, and polo shirts with camo panels as well as dual branding of Fred Perry‘s Laurel Wreath and BAPE’s ape head placed directly next to each other.
This second collaboration comes shortly after Fred Perry’s recent collaboration with Raf Simons (one of Raf Simmons very last collabs) and is set to officially land online on Saturday, March 11.
Molding the two worlds of British counterculture with Japanese streetwear may not result in something to everyone’s taste, but it undoubtedly adds a little bit of streetwear-esque into a selection of classic-looking Fred Perry garments.
