Shop not with money but with what you’ve already got and grab a new garment to cherish this summer at Selfridges‘ first swap shop with LOANHOOD that’s coming to London, Manchester, and Birmingham this June/July.
So many people own massive amounts of clothes they’ve accumulated over the years and are now only collecting dust in their wardrobes. Instead of throwing them out, A Swap Shop by LOANHOOD (a fashion rental marketplace and service) is here to circulate them and prolong their life.
It’s simple, you take your once-loved garments that are worth a resale value of £50 – £300 to the specific Selfridges store, such as Selfridges London on Oxford Street anytime from 10 – 30 July.
Your items will then be valued in exchange for stamps and you can then browse Selfridges, pick up whatever you fancy and use your stamps to check out.
Even if you’ve exchanged your items for stamps but can’t find anything you like, you can try another day or a different location of A Swap Shop by LOANHOOD at Selfridges.
Tickets must be ordered before hand but they’re free of charge and are only necessary so that the people visiting are spread over two hour time slots throughout the day.
Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday: 12-9pm / Sunday: 12-6pm.
You can only swap up to five items of clothing per ticket and the event only includes men’s and women’s clothes-only swaps – so no shoes, accessories, or underwear/swimwear.
