Recently, one of our trusted friends, P, a serial Adidas & Stone Island collector and enthusiast, and owner of the fashion culture YouTube channel WeAreNotTheSame, headed over to the launch of the Adidas Spezial SS24 collection on Carnaby Street.
Now, it’s no secret that the Adidas Spezial line is for the heads, and each successive season continues to provide a plethora of epic silhouettes and apparel. Curated by Gary Aspen, Spezial has experienced a significant surge in popularity in recent years, particularly with the success of the Handball Spezial silhouette. Following the release of multiple colorways, Adidas has now announced the release of the entire Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
As P takes us on a tour of the event and meets up with some true fans of Adidas, he provides some quick insights into the Adidas culture and the people who support the brand. The event was held at the Adidas Carnaby Street Originals store, also known as the ‘Home of Originals’. This brand new Adidas Originals concept store showcases the most exclusive and latest Adidas Originals products, offering a space for London’s creatives to gather while maintaining the cultural aesthetic and design true to the heart of Soho.
In the past the flagship store showcased some of the brand’s most exclusive product releases, including Spezial, Ivy Park, and YEEZY, as well as hyper-local product stories and collections. It has become the destination for Adidas Originals products in London, where customers can shop the full Originals range, including men’s and women’s streetwear, accessories, and shoes. The Store is located on 8 Foubert’s Pl, Carnaby, London W1F 7PD
