It’s been a good week for 34-year-old Real Madrid and France striker – Karim Benzema, who was presented with the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award about a week ago, and has now landed himself a new gig as Fendi‘s latest ambassador.
Benzema has already secured partnerships with companies such as Adidas and Hyundai and the new role with Fendi will center around the label’s new Faster trainers – a low-top model that fuses Fendi’s luxury codes with high-performance details.

Available in either white nubuck leather or gray nylon, Benzema can be seen sporting both colourways in the images above, while paired with standout pieces from Fendi‘s fall/winter 2022 collection.
Both colourways are currently available now from the Fendi store for £820.00. Each colourway features corrugated running soles plus FF branding on the sides, toes, and fabric inserts.

Benzema has become the latest baller to enter a partnership with a major fashion label, following other high profile moves from Gucci to secure a deal with Jack Grealish and Heung-Min Son’s partnership with Burberry.
The ever-growing off-field influence from footballers means we’re most likely only going to see more major fashion houses continuing to choose to connect with footballers in ambassadorial roles.
Benzema has only recently won the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year award for the very first time (he accepted while wearing a Fendi suit) and the superstar is now looking ahead at his plans to win back-to-back trophies this season with Real Madrid.
