Adidas‘ much-loved city Series continues to pay homage to iconic global cities through its stripped-back aesthetic range of footwear and its latest launch welcomes the Berlin iteration.
With raffles currently live from retailers such as SEVENSTORE and END., the Adidas Berlin debuted in 1980 to celebrate the famous capital of Germany. The designs boasts a clean-cut and casual aesthetic in a low-profile shape.
Featuring the signature T toebox and plush suede uppers, the Berlin has been decorated in a two-tone blue shade. Other Adidas City Series releases are usually given a colour scheme that matches its flag, however, the Berlin has taken a much less direct and more playful approach.
Adidas‘ City Series was established in the early 1970s when the German-founded sports giants designed 24 different silhouettes for 24 different European cities through its colourway, name, and spirit. In the 1970s, the City Series would expand beyond its European origins and introduce the North American Series.
Priced from £85 – £90, raffles are now live for the Adidas Berlin trainers at SEVENSTORE (closes 30 March 10:00am) and END. (closes 31 March 12:00am).
You can also cop a pair of the Adidas Berlin trainers by heading over to the Adidas webstore or BSTN where the trainers will simultaneously drop on Thursday, March 30 at 23:00.
