With New Balance and skatewear brand Spitfire checked off the list, Palace are debuting their third Summer 2023 collaboration that sees the streetwear icon linkup with sports eyewear and apparel giants Oakley for a brand new collection.
The high-profile collaboration from Palace x Oakley consists of early 2000s eyewear, blended with a contemporary streetwear aesthetic and a new apparel collection fit for all types of summer adventures and hikes.
Palace continues to boast their ability to bridge the gap between streetstyle and technical wear while also keeping to Palace tradition and releasing an energetic short film and uniquely edited campaign imagery (both seen below) to accompany the new launch.
Taking center stage of the collab is two pairs of Oakley‘s RE:Subzero sunglasses, featuring both silver and 24-karat gold outlines that’s paired with silver and black Prizm™ lenses.
Each pair arrives with neck straps for safe use, dual-branded engravings, and they weigh in at only 24 grams – that’s the equivalent of one AA battery.
A new selection of apparel also arrives alongside the eyewear, including workwear-inspired jackets and trousers in brown hues, curved panels, and drawn detailing.
Neutrally coloured hoodies sporting Oakley‘s circular logo with Palace‘s lettering also features, as well as reflective shell jackets, matching shorts, skull-printed T-shirts, caps, beanies, backpacks and socks.
Palace x Oakley Summer 2023 is expected to land alongside Week 6 of Palace’s lookbook items online and in-store at Palace from Friday, 9 June at 11:00am.
