Leading London based skateboard brand Palace, have yet again teamed up with the Japanese label Evisu to create another hit collaboration.
Following the success of their project which dropped last year, the London based brand has set high expectations for their next collaborative project – one highly anticipated by skaters and menswear enthusiasts alike.
Last year, the Palace Skateboards x Evisu collection was heavy on bright, bold motifs, heavy materials and casual fits. Again, the heavier materials and graphic prints take centre stage in the new range – a fitting choice as the Autumn/Winter season approaches. This time, the brands focus on more old-school looking pieces, including an unusual reversible bomber jacket, which features blue and pink hues, detailed with Japanese inspired embroidery. Also in the collection is a retro looking set of work pants, which can be bought with (or without) the matching chambray work shirt. An embroidered denim jacket and set of denim jeans are also up for grabs within the collection, alongside a matching, less than practical denim football (which is still undeniably cool, even if it is slightly hard on your head).
A light crewneck sweatshirt and matching joggers revisit the essence of the 90’s, with multi coloured embroidery and a repeated Evisu logo pattern across each piece; the perfect combination for looking cool but keeping warm this upcoming season. Hoodies and t-shirts create the basic foundation of this collection, which is finished off with a variety of accessories including caps, beanies and tote bags. The majority of pieces throughout the new collection are heavy on distinctive, Japanese-inspired motifs, emphasizing the true heritage of the Evisu brand.
The Palace x Evisu collection is due to drop this Friday, 24th September. It will be available to buy in Palace’s London store, alongside the USA based New York and Los Angeles stores. The following day, it will also be available on the Palace online shop, which you can visit by clicking here.
