Making a rare appearance in the public eye, luxury leather fashion label Chrome Hearts, who usually opt for a solitary approach to business, have called upon hip-hop sensation Offset for its new campaign.
Having jumped on D-Block Europe’s 2021 track ‘Chrome Hearts,’ Offset is a long-term brand friend and partner of Chrome Hearts and joins Jesse Jo Stark in the new campaign – singer and daughter of the co-owners of Chrome Hearts.
Described as a “rebellious” luxury brand by Vogue, Chrome Hearts and its appreciation for leather was established by its motorcycle-loving founder Richard Stark out of his Los Angeles garage in 1988.
Chrome Hearts has grown a very loyal following over its 34 years in the fashion industry. A unique aspect of Chrome Hearts is that other than a small range of fragrances, Chrome Hearts designs cannot be purchased online but only at one of the company’s 34 stores in the US, UK, China, Japan, Korea, Paris or St. Barts.
Resale sites are an online option for purchasing Chrome Hearts, although you should be prepared for a shock. Secondhand market site Grailed, had previously listed a pair of chequered leather jeans custom-made for Offset for $81,000 USD.
Seen in the above video, Offset boasts some silver and leather Chrome Hearts standouts. The Migos rapper can be seen shirtless in a pair of black leather overalls, matched with black sunglasses and Migos-appropriate chunky silver Chrome Hearts rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
No release date or schedule has been confirmed yet for Offset’s Chrome Hearts collection, but THT will be sure to keep you posted!
