Nike x Levi’s Go Full Denim: From Nike Trainers to Denim Icons

June 25, 2025
Nike and Levi’s continue to expand their collaborative legacy with a bold new chapter—one that goes beyond footwear into a full denim capsule. What began as a fusion of iconic sneakers and rugged American heritage has now evolved into a comprehensive offering that includes apparel, crafted with the same attention to detail as the shoes themselves.

Revealed in a new campaign, the upcoming Nike x Levi’s collection—partially previewed exclusively by Highsnobiety—marks the most ambitious release yet from the two brands. For the first time, the partnership introduces collaborative clothing to accompany a trio of Nike trainers, creating a unified look from head to toe.

The apparel includes faded denim jeans cut with a relaxed silhouette “specifically designed to complement the collection’s footwear,” according to Levi’s. These pieces, along with a matching Type II-inspired trucker jacket, are made from selvedge denim—a rare touch for garments with a worn-in finish. Both items feature authentic chainstitching and bold Nike co-branding, including a prominent Swoosh, adding streetwear appeal to classic workwear silhouettes.

The standout footwear in the collection is the reimagined Nike Air Max 95. This version incorporates washed and subtly distressed denim panels, giving it a textured, broken-in character that recalls high-concept reworks like COMME des GARÇONS’ take on the same silhouette.

While the shoes have already captured attention, the campaign itself adds further weight to the launch. It features a roster of notable figures including WNBA star Paige Bueckers, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman, and Kids of Immigrants designer Daniel Buezo, a previous Nike collaborator. Their inclusion underscores the cultural reach of the partnership, uniting sport, fashion, and identity.

The full Nike x Levi’s collection will be released on 11 July, available via the Highsnobiety Shop.
