Following a series of leaked images, Nike have officially unveiled images of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Rabbit” and they’re some of the most low-key stylish Jordan 1’s we’ve seen in a long while.
There has only been 5,000 pairs of these kicks made and each one has an individual number out of 5,000 printed atop the interior of the tongues.
The new images released by Nike show the Air Jordan 1 “Year of the Rabbit” trainers in all of its neutral glory. The upcoming release is centered around a smooth mix of Brown/Sail/White/Grey.
The uppers are crafted with panels of suede and leather and accented with terry cloth sockliners. More features include bunny rabbits on the inner tongue tags, printed insoles, and of course the bunny-inspired fluffy laces.
Priced around the £125 mark, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Rabbit” is expected to release from Nike SNKRS on Saturday 21 January.
The year of the rabbit is set to begin Sunday 22 January and ending on Thursday 9 February. In Chinese culture, the rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac and is known to be the luckiest out of all the twelve animals. The rabbit symbolises mercy, elegance and beauty.
We’ll let you know as the release date for the Jordan 1 “Year of the Rabbit” trainers edges closer as you’ll have to be quick to grab a pair before all 5,000 most likely disappear!
