It was only the other week when it was confirmed that the three worlds of Nike, LeBron James, and Liverpool F.C. would come together for an exclusive collaboration, and we’ve just now gotten our first look at its first installment.
LeBron James is a big known supporter of Liverpool and has been an owner of a minority stake of Liverpool F.C. since 2011 and a 1% stakeholder in Red Owners Fenway Sports Group.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has previously worked with Nike on collaborations such as an Air Max 1 colourway or the Nike LeBron 9 trainers.
Now we’ve gotten our first look at the latest football-inspired Nike LeBron 20 trainers in an all-red colourway and sporting the iconic liver bird of the Liverpool badge.
The new Nike LeBron “Liverpool” trainers feature side panels of sultry suede red to represent Liverpool F.C. and alternating black and red Nike Swooshes with snakeskin textures.
A metallic gold finish can be seen on the laces with LeBron’s signature placed atop the tongue tabs and they’re finished off with Liverpool‘s mythical liver bird emblem dressed into the red suede at the heel.
