Nike have completed the trio of Barcelona 22/23 kits with a third jersey inspired by the Cross of Sant Jordi and the club’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
A large portion of the front of the jersey consists of a red and blue cross, this cross commemorates the award of the Cross of Sant Jordi.
Barcelona were awarded this in recognition of their contributions to the betterment of society and its leading role in the promotion of the sport. As well as their values in relation to sport, civic duty, and solidarity – a very unique award within sports.
Barcelona chose to demonstrate the club’s commitment to social causes, diversity, and inclusion for their third kit.
Players from the Barca Genuine Foundation team appear in the launch campaign for the third jersey (along with names such as Robert Lewandowski and 19 y/o Pedri).
The 22/23 third kit moves away from the usual Barcelona stripes and instead focuses on the Cross of Sant Jordi, showcased as a large red and blue cross on the chest on top of an all-over grey base.
The rest of the jersey consists of the Spotify sponsor logo in the middle of the cross in grey, the Barcelona crest on the front along with the iconic black Nike swoosh.
The new third jersey is now available at Nike and priced at £74.95 for the original 22/23 third jersey and £114.95 for the Dri-FIT ADV 22/23 third jersey – both consisting of sustainable materials.
To match the third jersey are the Barcelona 22/23 third shorts in Sky Grey – available now from Nike, where you can browse their full F.C. Barcelona range.
