Paris fashion house – Casablanca, has climbed its way to the top of the fashion food chain in recent years. Numerous collaborations with New Balance have helped the brand along its way to success and they’re now celebrating their Fall/Winter 2022 collection with a campaign fronted by Nicolas Cage.
Hollywood’s Nicolas Cage can be seen sporting the latest Casablanca collection alongside two of fashion’s most in-demand models – Alton Mason and Anok Yai.
Shot by photographer Hugo Comte, the new Casablanca campaign demonstrates Hollywood glamour crossed with the early conceptual painting of American artist Eric Fischl – a painter known for his work depicting the glitz and the glamour of 80s life with hedonistic undertones.
Throughout the photos, we see a variety of Cage-focused shots alongside intimate images with both Mason and Yai. Staying true to Casablanca‘s unique aesthetic, the models are dressed in garments, primarily sporting the colours cream, off-white, green, red and black.
Hugo Comte explained in detail about the Casablanca campaign: “We revisited the Hollywood heritage with our own life stories, mixing opulence and romance to create timeless images out of the fashion scope, with a universal vocabulary of pop culture.”
The resulting campaign is a unique one that feels very true to Casablanca and represents the brand well. The consistent tone throughout the campaign of vintage pop culture and stardom, only echoes their choice to enlist Cage in the project – who has recently started to grow a love for the brand.
If you’re feeling these new images and like Cage, have a growing love for Casablanca – be sure to check out the latest selections of Casablanca from retailers Mr Porter, Farfetch, and End Clothing.
