The low-top silhouette of the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is one of the more underrated Jordan silhouettes, but with the release of this latest colourway, it’s time that the AJ 11 Low IE got its share of the spotlight, this time in the ‘Black Cement’ colourway.
The Air Jordan 11’s legacy over the years has seen pioneering advances in both performance and style. First worn by Michael Jordan in the 1995-96 playoffs, the AJ11 has seen the introduction of many different colourways over the years. Recent design releases in the low-top AJ11 silhouette include the ‘Space Jam’ design which dropped on July 13th.
This recent release and colourway bare close resemblance to the AJ3 which was released in ‘Black Cement’ back in 2018. The AJ11 Low IE offers a more flexible and breathable alternative to the OG AJ11, perfect for wearing both on the basketball court or simply for leisure purposes.
The shoe upper is constructed from a black tumbled leather and is overlaid with a grey elephant print, creating texture. The grey leather tongues feature a stitched, red ‘Jumpman’ logo which offers a striking contrast to the majority black and grey design. Breathability and comfort are at the forefront of this design with adapted signature details offering a versatile look for the wearer. Other design features include grey collars to match the tongue, white midsoles, a carbon fibre midfoot plate and the usual zoom air cushioning.
Predominantly grey and black in colour, these AJ11 Low IE’s are a great all-rounder and can be paired with joggers and a tee or jeans and a shirt to take you through from day to night.
Released on 9th July with a price tag of £159.99, the AJ11 Low IE are available to buy now from Nike SNKRS.
