New Balance drops its glow-in-the-dark New Balance 1500 trainers exclusive to Aphrodite. The trainers feature a reflective heel and a colour-morphing sole that illuminates in dim to dark lighting.
The New Balance 1500 which has been dubbed the “Made in England” silhouette (and often referred to as the chunky ‘Dad shoe’, has been updated in a playful way. With a suede and textured mesh upper, it is joined together with white leather paneling. A purple “N” logo sits on the side panels, and the New Balance moniker is stitched on top of the tongue. A crisp black counter lining contrasts against the white collar and the sneaker is finished off with black eyelets and laces.
The chunky midsole has a reflective trim near the heal and a sole entirely comprised of glow-in-the-dark rubber. This shoe is also comfort-focused with and Encap midsole cushion. The glow-in-the-dark trainers come in just the one colourway of black/purple but the glowing sole element is sure to dress up any outfit.
They are available to shop exclusively at Aphrodite clothing starting at £179 GPB.
