If you thought festival season was dying down, think again. We’re only 10 days away from Size? Sessions music festival, which will bring together both music and footwear culture during a festival which will see some huge UK names take the stage.
Size? sessions began as an intimate performance, exclusively in store, that showcased and celebrated upcoming talent in the UK. Since then, Size? sessions has developed into a full days summer festival at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on Saturday 20 August.
With a day full of some of the best UK music, exclusive streetwear set-ups from The North Face, PUMA, and Jordan, plenty of food, drink and more – you can’t really go wrong when tickets are priced at a reasonable £30 + booking fee (available to purchase from Size?).
A strictly UK affair, Size? resisted any temptation to book any US artists and instead focused on the endless supply of talent in the UK. Ladbroke Grove’s AJ Tracey is one of the 4 headliners, who should still be on cloud 9 after an inspired set at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.
AJ is also joined by Church Road rap legend Nines, who announced last year that after his next album release in 2022, the star will be retiring. If this is true, Size? sessions could possibly be the last time to see the legend perform in the flesh.
South Kilburn’s Knucks is another headliner who’ll be hitting the center stage on 20 August. With his most recent project, Alpha Place, being a big success, it’s hard to tell if Knucks will stick to his new stuff, dive into his archives or if we’re lucky – a bit of both.
The fourth and final headliner, North London’s Miraa May’s presence will provide that bit of balance between moshpit music and her blissful soul music. That being said, Miraa May still has a collection of energetic music to keep the energy and vibes up.
Other acts include one of the best rhymers from Birmingham – M1llionz, who’s grown immeasurably as an artist and will definitely attract crowds of people wanting to see him at Size? sessions. Grime-Afro-rap hybrid – MC BackRoad Gee will be bringing his long list of turn-up anthems to keep the crowd feeling lively.
The stages at Size? sessions will also be joined by rising Merryland rhymer Cristale, Comfy, Kenny Allstar, Kennedy Taylor, Clavish, Juice Menace, Tamera, The KTNA, and many more.
Other forms of entertainment include exclusive set-ups from some top streetwear brands such as Jordan, The North Face, PUMA, Berghaus plus Crep Protect will also be making an appearance.
There will also be a dedicated Instagram room for attendees to document the day as it goes on, which has been sponsored by Homegrown.
Tickets are £30 + booking fee for a regular ticket and £55 + booking fee for a VIP ticket. Tickets are still on sale and can be purchased from the Size? website.
