If there’s anything the relaunch of the leftover Adidas Yeezy trainers has proved, it’s that the demand for Yeezy products remains high, despite the surrounding controversy.

As part of the agreement, Kanye is reportedly making 15% in royalties from every Yeezy sale and he reportedly brought in over $23 million USD on the first day of Yeezy’s relaunch in May.

The agreement also states that Adidas will donate a portion of the Yeezy sale proceeds to charitable organisations, exactly how much and what charities has remained a mystery, until now.

Reported by the Financial Times, Adidas has already donated $10 million and will now pledge a total of $100 million to charities fighting against anti-semitism. These charities have been identified as the Anti-Defamation League and the George Floyd Foundation.

Bjørn Gulden, CEO of Adidas explained in a statement: “We have inherited a situation that was very unfortunate… Our task now is to limit the damage, get rid of the inventory, use the proceeds for good and lead the business without Yeezy.”

If you’ve ever wanted your own pair of Yeezy trainers, now’s a better time than any as more and more Yeezy shoes have been made available from multiple retailers.

Plenty of Yeezy Boost silhouettes, 500s, 700s, Slides, Foam Runners, and the new Yeezy 500 High are available to purchase right now from END., SEVENSTORE, BSTN, and of course the Adidas CONFIRMED app.

If you’re torn between feeling the need to buy a pair before it’s too late but don’t want to help fill Ye’s pocket, I wouldn’t worry about it as it seems no one else is.
