Only weeks after the founder of Facebook publicly agreed to a cage match against the head of Twitter, Zuckerberg has only enlisted a couple of UFC champions in preparation for the potential match. You better begin training Musk!
Reported by TMZ, Zuckerberg has spent the last few days intensely training with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
Both fighters appeared on Saturday night’s UFC 290 showcase in Las Vegas and thereafter flew straight to the Mark’s Northern California residence.
Tuesday day time, Adesanya posted on Instagram a small dump of the trio’s session. “No fugazi with Mark… This is serious business!!” he captioned the post as he praises the 39-year-old, who doesn’t look bad when standing next to two UFC legends (which is saying a lot).
Going back to when it all started… Musk was the one to initially propose the cage match on his Twitter platform back towards the end of June. Zuckerberg responded via Instagram and channels his inner Khabib as all he says is “Send Me Location.”
If you’re asking yourselves, is this actually going to happen? You’re not the only ones. If anyone has a genuine idea it would be UFC president Dana White, who had a lot to say on the potential match…
Back in June, White told TMZ that both Zuckerberg and Musk are “absolutely dead serious about this.” He continued to explain that a meet up in the cage between the two could be the “biggest fight ever in the history of the world.”
White added that he believes the event should be a charity match, which is likely widely expected. I don’t think either participants really need their bank accounts getting even bigger.
