Adidas and Manchester United F.C. have been busy reworking some previously well-loved kits and this time the duo have reproduced United’s blue third kid they wore from 1998 -1990.
This isn’t the first time Adidas have delved into United’s archives to bring back some adorned shirts from the past, including last year when they released reworked home and goalkeeper kits inspired by the early 1990s.
This time around, Manchester United have reworked their third kit from 1988-1990. The remake is reminiscent of the original blue design with a shiny jacquard stripe pattern.
The reworked 1988 jersey arrives alongside matching 1988 shorts, plus a new hoodie and two new trefoil T-shirts that arrive at BSTN on Sunday, May 14 at 23:00.
