If you’re up to speed on your Jordan knowledge, you’ll know that the launch of the Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is a huge deal as the silhouette pays homage Michael Jordan and his first season with the Washington Wizards where he wore an exclusive pair of Air Jordan 3 PEs.
At 38-years-old, MJ returned to the NBA to play for the Washington Wizards in 2001. Simply put, the AJ3 Wizards is the closest we’re likely to get to being able to get our hands on MJ’s Player Exclusive pair.
With similarities to the “True Blue” AJ3 colourway, the new Jordan silhouette has been decorated in a white, blue and cement-print colourway – inspired by the Washington Wizards‘ team uniform.
Arriving in a full-leather construction, the heel guard is highlighted blue, as are the eyelets and the inner lining. The shoe sits atop a white midsole and grey outsole to finish off the design that can be seen in the gallery above.
The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is priced at £179.99 and launches from BSTN on Saturday, April 29 at 8:00am.
