Inside the Stone Island Community: Meeting Carlo Rivetti and Iconic Collectors in London | The Hoxton Trend

A Day with Stone Island Fans: Exclusive Book Signing with Carlo Rivetti and Rare Collectibles

Hoxton arrived at the Stone Island flagship store in Central London, ready to meet some of the original Stone Island community and attend a special book signing with Carlo Rivetti. The atmosphere was buzzing with long-time fans and collectors, all keen to see the legendary designer. It was shaping up to be a day filled with connections, nostalgia, and, of course, an array of iconic pieces spanning the brand’s history.

As Hoxton moved through the crowd, he spotted DJ Witter and other members of the community including Warren Wstar Boy and Cp Simmo7, many proudly showcasing their impressive Stone Island collection pieceof the day. Conversations quickly sparked up as people exchanged stories and displayed rare items. Hoxton noticed one attendee flaunting a limited-edition jacket – a collector’s treasure with only 60 pieces ever made which was a collaboration wtih Cruise store. It was clear that everyone here was deeply passionate about Stone Island, with collections lovingly built over decades.

Reuniting with old friends and familiar faces, Hoxton couldn’t help but remember his days working at French Connection just around the corner on Argyll Street. The memories added a touch of sentimentality to the event, and he was pleased to see how Stone Island had maintained such a strong following in London.

The crowd was a mix of seasoned older collectors and younger fans, each sharing tales of their favourite finds, limited releases, and vintage pieces they had hunted down over the years. Hoxton spotted one collector who had travelled from Manchester, proudly wearing a vintage yellow ice jacket – a piece that had been meticulously preserved.

As the signing event kicked off, Hoxton had a chance to chat with Carlo Rivetti himself, a man he’d met a few times before. Carlo was, as always, warm and approachable, making everyone feel welcome. Hoxton hadn’t brought his own book for Carlo to sign, having left it back at the office, but he didn’t mind. Just being there with the community was enough, and he knew there would be more chances to connect and meet with other enthusiasts and fans alike.

By the end of the day, Hoxton was brimming with ideas for future content, inspired to capture more of the community spirit and showcase the dedication and passion behind collectors like these. With a renewed sense of inspiration, he headed back, already planning his next video to highlight the unique subculture surrounding Stone Island fans.
