Havana Club, the Cuban rum company that have collaborated with musical artists such as Skepta, Burna Boy and Ms Banks, can now cross Headie One off their list as they tease the second installment of its long-standing partnership with Places+Faces.
Following last months London pop-up that saw P+F selling a range of T-shirts in collaboration with brands such as Corteiz, the British lifestyle brand isn’t slowing down its 10-year anniversary celebrations anytime soon.
Havana Club and P+F first teamed up in 2019 and if we’re basing their latest venture on their last, we should expect a full collaborative capsule collection as well as a limited-edition Havana Club 7 bottle to arrive anytime soon.
Seen in the promotional video above, the two brands have called upon UK musical artist Headie One to help tap into the essence of London culture.
The Tottenham-born artist can be seen in what looks like a London convenience store, where he somewhat transforms into an alien while using his ID to buy a bottle of the Places+Faces x Havana Club 7 rum.
The closing seconds of the comical video is a positive reference to late-night house parties and UK garage, an ode to London and its culture.
The above video shows the very first time Places+Faces x Havana Club teamed up four years ago. The duo have made it their tradition to release a short film, a special edition Havana Club bottle with P+F branding and an accompanying capsule that features garments such as hoodies and T-shirts.
As for their second collaborative installment, no more details have been shared so keep it posted at THT for any updates!
