The first glimpse of the END. x Stone Island 20th Anniversary jacket has surfaced, worn by Blawan during his appearance at Turin’s C2C festival and photographed by Anna Adamo for The Face. Produced in extremely limited numbers, the jacket will be available exclusively through END. stores.
Blawan – real name Jamie Roberts – has undergone a significant transformation over the past decade. Once known for his intense, industrial techno and early post-dubstep experiments such as 2011’s Getting Me Down, he later pushed further into darker, abrasive territories with tracks like the 2012 cult anthem Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage?. The rapid rise came with relentless touring and long-haul travel, ultimately taking a toll on his health.
In the period leading up to lockdown, Roberts stepped back from the DJ circuit, choosing sobriety and a renewed focus on studio work. His recent output still carries the raw influences of metal, grindcore, and modular experimentation, but now leans into more abstract, open-ended production. Alongside this shift, he has embraced a more considered approach to live performance.
At C2C, Roberts appeared calm and assured, wearing the translucent Stone Island “Cover-TC” shell jacket created for END.’s 20th anniversary. The piece features a detachable reflective lining, a technical finish that aligns with both Stone Island’s material innovation and Roberts’ evolving, boundary-pushing sound.
