If you want to buy a pair of Nike Air Max 270’s then its best to buy from a trusted retailer, as there are so many fakes when you buy online from sites like eBay or Facebook Marketplace, so Hox is here to help you spot a pair of fake Air Max’s. As always, check out the range of footwear on our website, from brands like Nike, Adidas, Balenciaga and more!
The first thing to note about the fake trainers is that they will be very light. Hox described them as feeling like ‘a piece of A4 paper’. Not only are the fakes light but the air bubble on them will be thin, and easy to pop. If you have felt the air bubble on a real pair or Air Max’s, then you know how solid it is.
Another tell-tale sign is the ‘Air 270’ logo. On the real trainers the logo on the tongue is blacked out. However, on the fakes, you can see that the logo is a bright white colour. On the heel of the trainer the ‘air’ logo is thick on the authentic Nike, but on the fakes, it is written in a thin font.
The insole on the trainer will be a thick sole as it has an extra bit of padding. The sole is a blue colour and feels like soft foam. Whereas the fake trainer will have a thin insole that feels like cardboard, it will be feel very flimsy.
Don’t forget that if you want to be sure that you are buying a genuine pair of Nike’s then its best to buy them direct from a legit retailer. Take a look below to see a real pair of Nike Air Max 270’s from the Nike website.
