Amsterdam-based & African-inspired fashion and lifestyle brand, Daily Paper‘s list of collaborators includes a genuine variety of names at the top of their game. From AFC Ajax, the Van Gogh Museum and now they’ve set their sights on the top tier of the music industry – J.Cole’s Dreamville.
For those not sure, Dreamville is the American record label that’s home to and was founded by J.Cole. The label is also home to other American artists such as: Bas, Ari Lennox, JID, EarthGang, Cozz and more.
Dreamville is easily one of the most exciting and influential record labels in hip-hop, considered to be at the top of their game, alongside Drake’s OVO and Kendrick Lamar’s TDE.
The Dutch-African Daily Paper teased the upcoming collaboration with a single image posted to their Instagram, featuring one of their signature varsity jackets in a deep red at the base plus touches of white and orange – from the label’s Africa to the World collection
Dreamville’s logo sits firmly below Daily Paper‘s signature branding. Both brandings are encircling a graphic of the Sankoré Madrasa – one of the three ancient centers of learning located in Timbuktu, Mali.
As of now, all that’s been revealed of the upcoming collaboration is that it’ll launch this Friday, February 24 from Daily Paper’s website and that there will also be a launch pop up at Daily Paper’s New York flagship store on the same day.
