Check Out The New & Unique KFC Clothing Collab With Hype & Nando’s Heat Reactive “Extra Hot” Fashion Line

Vegetarians look away! Fast food chain KFC and fast casual (yes, this is the correct term) chicken chain Nandos have both announced they’re launching their own and very different, limited edition fashion lines.

The finger lickin’ good clothing line from KFC is in collaboration with lifestyle brand HYPE. The 47-piece collection features T-shirts, hoodies, puffer jackets, joggers, bucket hats and backpacks among many more items.

Perfect for festival and holiday wear, the exclusive collection takes inspiration from KFC’s history, menus and slogans with an added streetwear twist – wait until you see the puffer jacket decorated with chicken drumsticks below.

Showcased in a variety of red and whites, another stand out item to me is the original HYPE dad cap shape, which has been upgraded with a ‘Bargain Bucket’ embroidery across the front.

Everyone’s favourite chicken chain, which is considered a fast casual food chain, Nando’s have also announced a limited edition line of “Extra Hot” merch with heat-reactive clothing and accessories.

Consisting of fewer items than the KFC launch, the new Nando’s merch consists of 5 unisex items which are created using thermochromic tech, resulting in each garment changing colour as the wearer’s heat increases.

The capsule features T-shirts, jumpers, bucket hats plus socks and it’s all available in five varying levels of heat I’m sure we’ll all familiar with – Plainish, Lemon & Herb, Medium, Hot and Extra Hot.

Drawing inspiration from the Nando’s PERI-ometer heat chart, every item from the Nandos clothing launch will transform into a unique new colourway as its temperature alters.

The Nando’s “Extra Hot” capsule is now available from the Nando’s website and prices range from £15 – £50. While on the other hand, the KFC collection with HYPE is set to launch on the HYPE website on Thursday 4 August.

The KFC collection will also be available from the HYPE flagship London store in Carnaby Street on 4 August, as well as a launch party at Carnaby Street on the same day.
