FC Bayern Munich and Adidas have today released the Bundesliga champions’ new 2022/23 third kit in a slick blackout colourway.
This new Adidas football jersey has gone for a clean design in ‘Night Grey’ which looks very similar to black. With striking red accents appearing as the logos on the front, sleeve cuffs and the three stripes of Adidas placed on the shoulders.
Below we can see current heroes of the German giants sporting the new third kit, such as Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka and club legend – Thomas Muller.
The design of the new Adidas FC Bayern third kit for the 22/23 season has taken inspiration from the popular Bavarian card game – Schafkopf.
The kit features an easy-to-miss pattern consisting of outlines diamonds and different symbols. These symbols are the ‘pips’ of the German playing card suit – Hearts, Bells, Acorns and Leaves.
I can picture it now, FC Bayern Munich sporting a blacked out with hints of red kit, on a Wednesday evening in the UEFA Champions League, where like every year – they’ll be expected to do some serious damage to whoever they face.
