With the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 ‘1837’ dropping from Nike SNKRS in a matter of days, the world’s now been teased with a second, much bolder and brighter iteration in Tiffany Blue.
Tiffany exec and son of LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, Alexandre Arnault teased the new luxury kicks on his Instagram page yesterday (March 2).
The uploaded images revealed a new Nike AF1 very similar to Tiffany’s original Triple Black ‘1837’ design, only the new pair are designed in a Tiffany Blue-toned leather upper and outsole with smaller black details.
The original Tiffany & Co. x Nike AF1 surfaced in early February and was subject to much debate across the streetwear and high-end fashion communities.
While many footwear fans expressed their approval of the new pair, there was plenty of consumers who also commented that they expected more from the collaboration and the design of the new footwear is too simple.
Although this is a matter of opinion, the recently surfaced pair of Tiffany & Co. x Nike AF1‘s showcase a reversed look to the official pair, with the uppers decorated with signature Tiffany Blue plus a black Swoosh logo, laces, and branding to the rear.
It’s been reported that the new reversed AF1′s are to exclusively be a friends & family release and that we shouldn’t expect a public release anytime soon.
Decide for yourselves if you’re a fan of the original Tiffany & Co. x Nike AF1 ‘1837’ in its Triple Black colourway – expected to launch from Nike SNKRS on Tuesday, March 7 for £359.95.
