It’s been 20 years since A BATHING APE (Bape) and Adidas first teamed up in 2003 to release the “Super Ape Star” trainers, and now the labels are joining forces once again to leave another imprint on streetwear culture.
Five products are scheduled to be released from the recent partnership, five products that combine Bape‘s one-of-a-kind, unique graphics and details with Adidas‘ famous silhouettes and designs.
Starting off the 20th anniversary is the new collaborative take of the Campus 80s. Featuring a navy suede upper and launching soon from Adidas – you can take a detailed look at the upcoming kicks in the gallery below.
Further features include Bape‘s famous star logo to the side, along with the sportswear giants 3-Stripe branding. A 30th anniversary logo is placed upon the tongue tab and the kicks are finished off with a luxury gold lace dubrae plus a custom-printed shoebox.
Priced at £130, the navy Bape x Adidas Campus 80 trainers are scheduled to launch from the Adidas webstore and Bape on Saturday, April 1 at 8:00am.
