Longtime collaborators and friends, a joint project from Moncler and Pharrell Williams’ Billionaire Boys Club brand is officially in the works with an expansive selection of archetypal streetwear and statement outerwear pieces expected to launch.
In recent years, Moncler has built a reputation for frequently collaborating with other labels and creatives such as this year’s FRGMT and Adidas collabs.
As for Pharrell, It’s a mystery how he’s managed to find the time for this collaboration between his new role at Louis Vuitton and his other brands such as Human Race. My guess is this new project must be a special one!
So what can we expect from the new project from the BBC streetwear brand and luxury Italian outerwear experts?
Images have surfaced of a selection of puffer jackets, varsity jacket, T-shirts, padded boots, and trail-ready trainers. I think it’s safe to expect an extensive collection from the new duo, which is unusual for Moncler to do outside of their Moncler Genius line.
Rumours first began circulating In June when Moncler teased the collaboration on their Instagram Stories and come July, images of a dual-branded logo of BBC’s astronaut logo and Moncler’s recognisable outline began circulating.
No word from either parties has announced when we should expect the collaboration to officially drop, but we’ll keep you posted the best we can here at The Hoxton Trend.
