Samuel Ross is one of the newest names on London’s streetwear scene. Ross graduated from university with a degree in graphic design and illustration and the skills that he learnt from his degree, now inform his design choices. He later launched A-COLD-WALL* in 2015 as a sartorial take on street culture and the zeitgeist of Britain’s working class. After working alongside Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton, Ross was inspired to create his own brand which he described as “an art project based on exploring the cultural melting pot of the UK”. A-COLD-WALL* shows off unconventional tailoring with interesting silhouettes and streamlined designs. One of the unique things about A-COLD-WALL* is that everything is handcrafted. Each and every T-shirt is hand dyed and Ross adds the logo taping himself, the graphic T-shirts are a real stand out product. You could opt for some utilitarian accessories that are on everyone’s minds right now, such as a harness vest or buckle belt. A-COLD-WALL* has previously collaborated with brands including Nike and Converse, to create capsule collections and it will be interesting to see what their next move will be.
