The Am1 ‘Red Bubble’ Returns For Nike Air Max Day With Its Larger Air Unit

Be a part of footwear history this Air Max Day on Sunday, March 26 with the return of the Nike Air Max OG ’86 ‘Big Bubble’ that features the larger and longer Air unit from its original design and with multiple raffles now live.

The new Air Max 1 ‘Big Bubble’ arrives in the original build from when it was first produced in 1986 but never saw the an official release until it was launched a year later with a small Air bubble.

Decorated in the original red and white colourway, the new retro release is launching for the first time ever with its larger and longer signature Air bubble for extra comfortable cushioning.

The new Air Max 1 kicks are finished off with a crispy white mesh base and suede overlays in a colourway made for the summer with the warm University Red decorated on the overlays that stretch from the top to the toe, right back to the Swoosh details.

With last year being the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1, this years Nike Air Max Day has to be a big follow up.

Priced between £140 – £145, raffles are now live and close on Saturday, March 25 for the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 OG ‘Big Bubble’ trainers at BSTN, END., and SEVENSTORE.

In usual fashion, the celebratory Air Max 1 ‘Big Bubble’ trainers will also launch from Nike SNKRS on Air Max Day – Sunday, March 26 at 8:00am.
