Burberry has recently released a first look at their new Autumn Winter 2021 campaign, photographed by Danko Steiner.

The innovative campaign features a warm, earthy colour palette, with a refreshing approach to the brand, incorporating its own British heritage. Photographed in sunny wheat fields, the images take a futuristic direction through the use of movement and energy, which contrasts against the peaceful English countryside.

Riccardo Tisci is pushing the boundaries for the brand once again, this time by incorporating a unique lightweight Gabardine fabric into the collection – a woven compact twill. Signature outerwear pieces within the collection are constructed from the lightweight fabric, including some quilted puffer jackets.

The classic Burberry trench coat has been given a revamp for the new season, a traditional staple for any Brits’ wardrobe. Throughout the collection, silhouettes including puffer gilets and duffle coats are adorned in a block ‘Honey’ or black shade, alongside the timeless Burberry Nova Check. Trims and detailing signal the attention to quality and intricacy which Burberry are renowned for. This time, with a more contemporary approach, key features throughout the collection include check detailing and contrast stitching.

Overall, the collection provides a great variety for shoppers to chose from. Between heavier, quilted styles and lighter, more slim fitting pieces, every personal style is catered for. Every piece within the collection provides many options, in terms of wearing and layering up throughout winter – the neutral colour palette provides a great foundation for styling an outfit, as each piece is much more versatile than something boldly coloured or patterned. The minimal, sophisticated style of the Burberry brand is one which will never age, so each piece within this collection would be a guaranteed investment for your wardrobe.
