Streetwear and skatewear experts Stüssy, unveil their Pre-Spring 2023 collection which includes some expertly hand-dyed outerwear pieces and cozy knits that are sure to maximise anyone’s mood.
Stüssy called upon Niki Tsukamoto of Lookout & Wonderland to turn one of Stüssy’s most eye-catching collaborations into a work of art. Tsukamoto last worked with Stüssy when the duo created and customised a collection of hand-dipped Nike Air Force 1 trainers.
Lookout & Wonderland is a Los Angeles-based dyehouse and fiber art project that’s worked with many fashion labels over the years.
Tsukamoto’s colour dying talents have turned Stüssy‘s denim work wear into colourful staple pieces that go way beyond their technical workwear ethos with vibrant hues unique to every piece. Take a closer look in the gallery below:
Leading the line in the new Stüssy Pre-Season drop is the duo of button-up bomber jackets, both allowing the wearer to choose to rep the East Coast or West Coast as they either read “New York” across the front or “Los Angeles.”
Stüssy’s Big Ol’ Jean and work jacket have resurfaced, this time they’ve been decorated with some handsome hand-dyed magic from Tsukamoto.
Finishing off the collection is a unique trench coat that changes colour when in the light, two-toned knit sweatshirts, patchwork fleece vests and desert camo trousers.
The new forward-thinking, streetwear Pre-Season 2023 collection by Stüssy is available as of today at Stüssy’s website and Dover Street Market locations.
